The IRC was founded on the simple belief that our small businesses have the power to affect legislative change if we unite our voices. Our purpose is to build a sustainable future for independent restaurateurs, their employees, and the communities they support.
As consumers and politicians see busier dining rooms and reservations are harder to come by, most people assume that restaurants are thriving and do not need help. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. Many of these businesses in our community are still struggling and are depending on the IRC for leadership and guidance in navigating the ongoing challenges and uncertainties ahead.
In order to continue doing this work, the IRC needs support from every corner of our community. We hope that you will consider adding a donation to the IRC to your end-of-year plans, Giving Tuesday or holiday wish list. We have several gifting options as part of our Centerpiece campaign, including:
The IRC’s Second Annual Recipe Collection
When you make a donation of $25 or more, you’ll receive a digital collection featuring recipes from acclaimed chefs including Jacques Pepin, Kwame Onwuachi, Amanda Cohen, Sarah Grueneberg, Christina Tosi, Paul Reilly and JJ Johnson, among others. The collection will be delivered to your inbox in December.
