In Good Spirits, one part poetry anthology, two parts cocktail menu from the award-winning Trick Dog team in San Francisco. The bar changes its menus entirely twice a year, creating a new theme, all new cocktails and collector's edition menu for purchase with proceeds going to the Bon Vivants Scholarship. Poet and editor Katie Ogle sourced work from some of our country's most notable poets, Alyssa Rusin designed that work into a gorgeous book complete with her own original illustrations, and the book was printed by local SF shop, Colpa Press. And, of course, the whole team at Trick Dog, led by Nick Amano-Dolan, created an outstanding selection of original cocktails. This 50-page book is beautiful with heavy papers and colored stitching.

In Good Spirits feature poems from Catharine Pond, Richard Kenney, Tyler Goldman, Aimee Nezhukumatathil, Lisa Russ Spaar, Tiana Clark, Bill Carty, Megan Fernandes, David St. John, Michelle Peñaloza, Alex, Dimitrov, James Lewis Tucker, Russell Dillon, Emily Dickinson, Edna St. Vincent Millay, and Langston Hughes.
